I am Gorb, and since you are reading this, welcome to my world. This is my first attempt at crating a blog, so I apologize for the spartan nature of things. If you continue to follow my rambling, however, you will soon discover that the utilitarian nature of this blog is very fitting, but I digress.
You have come to my blog to hear what I think, so I feel it is only appropriate for you to learn some basic information about me. I am a forty year old husband and father of three who finally figured out what I wanted to do when I grew up at the age of thirty-nine. My wife and I have been married for twelve years, and we have an eleven year old son together. My wife has two daughters from her first marriage, but they live with their father for most of the year. I still consider them my girls because they came with the package when my wife and I got married. I have a solid relationship with all three of my kids, and that fact makes me happy. I am currently a student at a small university in the Oklahoma panhandle, and will graduate with a BA in English and History in May of 2015.
My life has taken many twists and turns as I have navigated the road "less traveled by" to arrive at the place where I now stand. I won't bore you with details for now, but not to worry, you will hear all about it in future posts. I will leave you now with this simple introduction, and a firm desire that if you don't find my posts educational, at least you will find them entertaining.
